It\u2019s cutting it fine, but you still have time to sign up for this year\u2019s Color Run\u2122 set to take place in Durban this weekend.<\/p>\n

Durban has always been one of the highlights on The Color Run\u2122 calendar and this year the Rainbow Tour is hitting our fair city, with more colour, sparkles, and highlights.<\/p>\n

This year you can look forward to\u00a0a new venue as well as a fab new route. The Color Run South Africa National Event Co-ordinator, Trevor Latimer, says: \u201cThe run starts from the Durban North College, giving us access to some of the city\u2019s most scenic views, and we can\u2019t wait to introduce rainbows to every kilometre of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Once again, headline sponsor \u2013 Capitec Bank \u2013 will ensure loads of fun and festivities. Foremost for the bank is their Adopt-a-School project, with this year\u2019s recipient being Maphumuzana Primary School in uMlazi.<\/p>\n

Charl Nel, Capitec Bank\u2019s head of communications, says: \u201cCapitec strongly supports The Color Run\u2019s principles of healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back, which is why we have continued our long-standing relationship with Adopt-a-School, allowing us to contribute to schools in each area in which the event takes place. We donate R10 for each ticket purchased to a deserving school.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough Adopt-a-School, we have learned that Maphumuzana Primary requires\u00a0educator development and classroom-based support programmes in Natural Sciences. All money raised will be donated to this cause.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to raising money through Adopt-a-School, individual charities and schools can form their own fund raising programmes. Register your school or charity on the Fun Raiser programme and raise money for every ticket sold under your unique Fun Raiser code.\u00a0 To get involved, e-mail\u00a0<\/a>The Color Run.<\/p>\n

Color Runners will each receive a race pack with includes the official Rainbow Tour edition T-Shirt, headband, bag of colour powder, temporary tattoos, and a race number. Also, every Color Runner will receive a R200 voucher from Superbalist.com, to be redeemed against a minimum purchase of R650 through the Superbalist app. Ts & Cs apply.<\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t purchased your tickets yet, get them online from The Color Run website<\/a>\u00a0and Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Individual ticket prices are R250 and R225 for groups of 4 or more. Manual entry points are listed on the website<\/a>. Late entries are charged at R300 each.<\/p>\n
