All you sleep-deprived parents out there, this one is for you. If you’re chasing sleep because your little one refuses to then here is something you may be interested in. Have you heard of the self-published book by Swedish author, Carl-Johan Forssén Ehrlin, that’d become a #1 international bestseller?
The Rabbit Who Wants to Fall Asleep is on bestseller lists across the world after it was reported to be a phenomenal success in lulling children to sleep in minutes, by using positive-reinforcement techniques to promote relaxation and ultimately sleep. Parent testimonials online rave about the book too.
The author is a behavioural scientist with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and teaches communications at a Swedish university. He is also a life coach and leadership trainer. His bedtime story was published in Swedish in 2011. An English translation was released in 2014, and The Rabbit Who Wants To Fall Asleep is available in seven languages. Ehrlin has published three books with themes of personal development and psychology. This one is his first for parents and children.
This week publishing house, Penguin Random House announced it had acquired the book. Said Francesca Dow, Managing Director, Penguin Random House Children’s UK: “As a publisher we want to publish books that speak to people and have the power to support them. This book is very clearly doing that.”
The new print editions will have a fresh cover and will go on sale in October at all good bookstores nationwide.
So, mums and dads, rub the sleep from your eyes and get to your nearest bookstore for your copy next month.[contact-form-7 404 "Not Found"]
